Indenture of conveyance, by the Provost and College, to £4926 8s 4d to Dame Penelope Farnaby Radcliffe, of the Priory near Hitchin and Charles John Clarke, of the same, esquire, of the site of their moiety of the manor of Pyrton with all the demesne lands belonging, also the moiety of their two woods there called Odyngsylles woods, and all manner of rents and profits appertaining in as ample manner, except all perquisites of courts and leets and the keeping of the same, but reserving the great trees. The tripartite between the College, the commissioners for redemption of Land Tax, and the purchasers. The premises had been leased to the purchasers on 7th February 1800 for 21 years from Michaelmas last.
