Oakley and Clapham, Bedfordshire: Indenture of lease

Indenture of lease, by the Provost and College upon surrender of a lease to John Russell, gentleman, to John, Duke of Bedford, of the Rectory and Parsonage of Okeley, with all houses, barns, edifices, buildings, orchards, gardens, yards, glebe lands, meadows, pastures, feedings, waters, fishing and other commodities appertaining thereto, and tithes of corn, hay and wood, and the tithes of Bayhouse Wood in Clapham, and all other tithes appertaining within the parish precincts and bounds of Okeley and Clapham, parcel of the said Rectory; except the advowson of the Vicarage of Okeley and of the chapel of Clapham, with their own woods and tithes, and all rents etc. belonging to the manor of Okeley and Clapham always reserved to the lessors. From Michaelmas last for 10 years. Rent £8 and 6 quarters of wheat and 8 quarters of malt, or their money equivalent.
