Appointment, by the Provost and College of Eton of George Crocker, of Burham, co. Bucks, Land Valuer, to be an arbitrator to settle and determine, in conjuction with an arbitrator to be appointed by the Midland Railway Company, the amount of purchase money and compensation to be paid by the Company for the purchase money and compensation to be paid by the Company for the purchase of parcels of land mentioned in a schedule and for injury done to adjoining land and hereditaments, the property of the College, by reason of the taking of the lands and the construction of an extension of the Midland Railway from Leicester to Hitchin. The schedule refers to 3 acres 0 roods 34 perches in the parish of Oakely, co. Beds.

With a declaration by George Crocker, that he will faithfully hear and determine the matters, subscribed in the presence of Robert Blount, magistrate for New Windsor, 1st February 1855.
