Counterpart of lease, by the Provost and College to Lewys Dyve, of Bromham, co. Beds, esquire, of the Rectory and parsonage of Bromham and all manner of tythes of corn and grain, hay and wood to the same belonging and all manner of tythes of fruits, oblations, obventions, profits, commodities, advantages and emoluments whatsoever at anytime heretofore belonging in and upon the same, and all the grange and messuage in Bromham with all lands pertaining to the same in Bromham, Stacheden and Stevington, co. Beds, with the advowson of the vicarage of Bromham. From Lady day next for 80 years. Rent £7 and 20 good and fat weather sheep to be delivered at the College pasture called Plainge Leaze, or if the sheep are misliked and refused by the Bursars, £6 13s 4d and 40s to be paid annually to the Crown. The lessee to repair and maintain the premises, and to give at their own expense to the parishioners of Bromham at some time in the Rogation week a drinking of old time used and accustomed, and to find straw for the church as of old time. The lessee may take timber for repair and maintenance. The lessee to provide horsemeat and mansmeat for one day and two nights for the College and its officers.
