King's Scholars: Cloister Speeches

When the visitors from King's College arrived at Eton they were formally greeted by the Provost under Lupton's Tower and the Captain of the School delivered a Latin speech in which he reviewed the main events of the year. The last speech was given in 1870. It is not known who collected this group together.
