Charles Van to the Revd. H. Roberts, Bursar of Eton College: he wants to leave to fell oaks in Lower Priory wood which will be ready for cutting next May; he hopes the College will allow him to reimburse himself for his own timber which he used to repair the College farm. Repair of the sea walls and gouts will cost over £300 this year. Hopes the surveyor [Mr Palmer] will be sent next summer when he will be in Monmouthsire.
