Content description
Shirenewton.
Littleton to [Dr Sleech]: he reports the terms offered by a possible tenant and does not know how to advise the College. The sum offered is all the farms are worth at present, but if the sea walls were repaired they should be worth considerably more. He gave Mr Morgan an account of the sea walls presented and desired him to repair them. He hopes to settle the bounds of the orchard at Chepstow which appears to be part of the College's demesne land in the manor of Goldcliff. Mr Van will give nothing towards the demolition of the mill.
