Content description
Shirenewton.
Littleton to Dr William Berriman, Leadenhall Street: the highway by Murbourn has been repaired and a new door made for Julian House gout by an expenditor at College expense. Littleton does not believe that they belong to the College but the only way of avoiding payment is by traversing the presentment when a jury might do the College justice. But it would be hazardous and expensive. The reeve has had difficulty in collecting the chief rents.
