Bold to Roberts: sends a copy of letter from Robert Owen, Newport, 10 July 1811, about the cost of strengthening the sea walls at Goldcliff, which he is prepared to oversee. The difference in price between what is proposed and agreed to by Waters and what he stated to Bold seems to him additional reason for giving him notice to quit, and he asks for directions about this.
