Map shows houses along both sides and the full length of Adelaide Road; houses on the north side of the west end of King Henry's Road, but not at the east end although F.M.L Thompson in 'Hampstead Building a Borough', 1650-1964 (London and Boston, 1974), p. 243 says that Cuming began to build at both ends of King Henry's Road simultaneously in 1856; a few houses in Primrose Hill Road; houses in Church Road (later Eton Road), Provost Road, College Road; Bridge Road marked; Fellows Road undeveloped but named; Merton Road, King's College Road, Primrose Hill Road mostly undeveloped but named.
