Content description

A. Certified copy of 'plan of an estate called the Christopher Inn situate at Eton cum Stockdales and the lands thereto belonging to the Crown, 1797'. Surveyed by order of John Fordyce, H.M.'s Surveyor General, by John Woodcock & son. Copy examined by ?T. Chawner, November 1861 (faint red ink). Reference key.

Scale: 4 chains to 1 inch. Inset: 1 chain to 1 inch.
MS, coloured, compass indicator. Shows a number of isolated pieces of land in South, North and Stonebridge Fields, Broken Furlong and Mill Furlong.

B.Plan of the Cock Close estate showing proposed division thereof into 8 plots for separate leases of each. N.d.: after 1835 and before 1843 (adjacent occupants given as the Reverend George Dupuis (1835-8) and Reverend Edward Coleridge (1834-57); but before building of Hawtrey and Durnford Houses).
Scale: 20ft to 1 inch. MS, coloured; measurements given; compass indicator.

C. Plan of Keate House (or its predecessor) and gardens. N.d., but adjoining occupants suggest 1835 on. No scale given. MS, coloured, measurements given; compass indicator.
