'I am getting on rippingly and simply love it'. Has seen scores of S[ummer] F[ields] boys. Will be fag to Chute or Davison, both 'universally thought awfully decent'. Fag's duties. Asks for jam. 'This is the most expensive place I know'. Vice-Provost formally admitted them to College; playing football this morning then passing. If he had seen Mr Bowlby sooner he would have prepared his Herodotus. Three Greek boys here whom he doesn't like much.
