Content description
Reminds his father that they break up in a fortnight. Last night a rogue tried to break into his Dame's back door; probably a boy, who would be expelled if found out. Most of the great boys, indeed almost all, have guns or pistols, but maids afraid to wake the boys - 'if they had they would have faired the worse' - but the watchman, who found nobody. He and another boy heard and were too scared to sleep.
