Withdrawal of 2nd Ward James Wellesley from Eton. Requests suggestions of private tutors for him. William Wellesley will remain at Eton, he is 'going on quietly well though I fear making no great progress in learning'. Apologises for writing in pencil because of ill health, 'I am still obliged to remain on my couch'. Written from Apsley House.
