Content description
Latin exercise (as Stewart). Engraving: General the Marquis of Londonderry GCB, GCH, painted by Bostock, engraved by Jenkins. Annotation: 'Don Quixote Stewart. He saved a drowning boy at Eton at the risk of his own life'. The boy, George Waldegrave, 1784 - 1794, 5th Earl Waldegrave, did not in fact survive.
