Charles Brown: Letter from Joseph Goodall
Item
28 April 1794
1 item
Addressed to "A Docteur Brown, Cons. Prive et premier Medicin du Roi a Berlin". Can receive William into his house next September and will find a dame for him if he is sent earlier. Assistants absolutely refuse to keep boys in the holidays but he can be boarded with a clergyman in the neighbourhood. Lord Malmesbury's second son comes in September and it would be better if William could join the school then. Written from Adelphi, London.
Endorsed with date of sending, receipt and reply.
Note that returned to Goodall as insufficient postage paid.
