Is working on an edition of Froissart and asks to have his version compared with the manuscript at Breslau [Wroclaw]. Cost £50 for the collation. Professor Catel will do the work. Asks for copies of the illustrations. The ms of Froissart was transferred from Breslau to the Royal Library at Berlin for copying and collation. Delays due to war. Johnes writes from Hafod, Wales. With copy letters from Brown.
