Addressed to "Dr Brown at the Rev'd J. Keate's Eton". Saddened by fatal battle. Expects peace will see Brown return to the continent. Hopes to see him before he goes. Still hopes Brown will live in the cottage on the Common or the house in Lympsfield. Drawing from Mr Repton has induced him to begin remodelling in September.
