4/ Letter from Queen Louise on Dr Brown's departure for England. Written in French, 1 May 1802
5/ Letter from Queen Louise requesting that Brown's daughter Margaretta teach her daughter. Written in French, 19 August 1803. Endorsed: A Note from the Queen Louisa of Prussia to my Father when she was anxious I should undertkae the education of her eldest daughter Princess Charlotte now Empress of Russia. Ap'l 1844 Windsor. My father was at Berlin, I was in England.
6/ Letter from Queen Louise sending a breakfast service. Endorsed: A note from the beautiful Queen Louisa of Prussia when she sent him a breakfast service.


1/ Outer envelope labelled "Letter from the beautiful Queen Louise wife of King Fred'k Will'm III of Prussia and Mother of the Emperor William"
2/ Internal envelope noted in more recent hand "Three notes from Queen Louise of Prussia 1803 to Sir Charles Brown"
3/ Internal envelope "A Note from the Queen Frederica of Prussia to my Father, also three notes from the Queen Louise to him one respecting her wish that I should undertake the education of her daughter Princess Charlotte now Empress of Russia. Hartley July 15th 1844"
