Sent from Weimar. Glad he has left England. Has written to Lady Waldegrave to see if there might be a commission for him, then he would return. Has attempted to join Archduke's service. Discusses Prussian Army and their encampment. Presented at Court to the King and Queen of Prussia. Saw Hessian Infantry review. Has met George Mellish, an Old Etonian, now resident there. Speaks of his unhappiness.
