From Bellevue. Enthuses about dear William [Fanny's brother?] and his lovely wife. Wishes she could see Fanny and remembers fondly her time at Eton. Talks of the Countess Voss, Countess Mothe and Countess and a summer in Pohlbend (?) which would not want to repeat. Writes of the widowers loss and his daughter. Berlin absorbed in the problem of the French breaching the neutrality. The Kings Army is readying and the Emperor of Russia is due to be met by the King and Queen. Her father and others will be with the Imperial group. Tells of the bravery of a young officer Reitzenstein saving a bridge.
