From 24 Orchard Street Friday April 26th.
Because she had moved lodging the letter from Fanny had not arrived until 'all the bells had long done ringing'. Tying to plan her departure. Delighted to see 'Farmer Brown'. Reports that she has had letters from Berlin where they are 'as gay as ever', having many small balls not large assemblies. The King encourges gaiety and wishes the Royal family to partake in it despite the death of 'Old Maurice Brekt' (?) Love as ever.
