Expresses huge thanks for the gifts of rings and a bracelet and a book of Scott. Hopes to go soon to Charlottenburg (?) and will deliver the gifts there. Charlotte her wishes too.Entreats her to write every detail of her life which is doubly interesting to her. Begs her to send a little bit of her hair and also of the children 'you shall see it all again' (underlined) Will write again from Heligoland.
