Has not written since Mr Gardener's visit. Waterfield was supposed to have been at home, apologises that Miss Brown missed him. Many things are in a bad state which he overlooked, doors to the barn are dilapidated. Asks whether all bills relating to the farm premises should be sent to him in order to be kept distinct from Mr Dawson's.
