Administrative / Biographical history
A King's Scholar elected to King's in 1817 and was later elected a fellow. He was called to the bar in 1827 but in 1830 was ordained and after a period as perpetual curate of Brompton, Middlesex, became Vicar of Barkway with Reed, Herts, in 1840. He remained there until his death. He is frequently mentioned in Chapman's letters to Mayd.
