Content description
Deep snow, everybody is snowballing but the head has sent round an order to stop it. The boys behaved badly last night in Chapel. Had skating on the 11th but since then the snow has all gone. Have to do science which he finds "rather fun". Have to know about the stars, the earth, the sun, the moon, comets, nebulae and other things which he finds "very interesting". At the end of each week they " have to make an abstract with pictures of stars and things". Joined the workshop and is making a small square ottoman. Had a paper chase. Illustrations at the end of the letter.
