Transcript of letter to his son Henry Wellesley, 1791 - 1866, congratulating him on being sent-up for good. 'This is your first step in the career of glory...and believe me that no human pleasure approaches the enjoyment of public glory'. Encloses note (also transcribed) requesting dinner and a bed from the Provost following `the funeral at Windsor' [presumably that of Princess Amelia].
