Addressed to 'The Red Dr Keate.' States that the King has been informed of the recent establishment of the library for the use of the school, under Keates' sanction and has directed Sumner to present a large paper copy of the [?] Classics, as 'his royal contribution in furtherance of a subject so well calculated to promote the literary interest of Eton.' Also requests that a holiday be taken at the schools convenience to celebrate this royal present. Written from his majesty's Librarian at Carlton House. Written from Windsor.
