Transcript of talk given to a society. Gives memories of prep school, Rodwell near Weymouth, attended 1840-44, then a school in Stoke Poges 1845-6, then coming to Eton as a King's Scholar. Describes the entrance exam and election process, life in Long Chamber after the opening of New Buildings including sleeping in the beds later cut up into models, washing facilities, "rug riding", lessons, first Master-in-College Charles Abraham, other beaks. Incomplete.
