The club played matches under Eton and Association rules. The books become by the 1890s those of the Trinity Etonian Football Club, although never formally changing name, but matches of a Cambridge Etonian team are sometimes reported, usually on such occasions as St Andrew's Day. The club appears to have folded around 1908, the victim of a preference for rugby over soccer.
