Autograph and printed music scores and recordings relating to Chadwyck-Healey's Lorna Doone: an opera in three acts. The libretto is also by Chadwyck-Healey, based on the novel by R.D. Blackmore. It was orchestrated by Eric Warr, and included two arias with words by Janet Ling and Vera Wheatley.

3. Autograph annotated piano score of Lorna Doone in 2 cloth-bound volumes, Acts 1 and 2 and Act 3, signed, Radwell Aug 1943, with inscriptions and typescript 'Appologia' by Chadwyck-Healey pasted in on flyleaf of first volume [Vol 1 previously numbered MS 417/1/2]
4. Autograph, annotated scores for each of the nine characters of Lorna Doone, in wrappers, some signed, 9 volumes, some labelled 'property of Western Song Productions Ltd.', includes a letter in volume of part of 'John' from Chadwyck-Healey to Mr Henderson, 22 Jan 1946
5. Three photocopied scores for the chorus, in paper wrappers, two with autograph signatures [previously numbered MS 417/1/3/1-3]

Eton College Library does not currently have the equipment to play the reel-to-reel tape. A compact disk copy of the 78rpm disc recording of Lorna Doone made by the London Symphony Orchestra in 1946, donated by Sir Charles Chadwyck-Healey in January 2023 is at MS 417 01/8.
