Content description
This box contains a number of versions of the introduction, and chapters 1-17, containing varying levels of alterations and corrections. Some sections have been rewritten on separate pieces of paper and stapled over the original page, while others have typescript pages inserted into the order. The corrections are all in Thesiger’s hand.
Also included in the box is a portrait photograph of Thesiger, taken while he was at Eton College in 1928.
