Photocopy of an article written by Thesiger in ‘Sudan Notes and Records’, 22 (1939), pp.155–157. The article is concerned with the hunting of lions in northern Dafur.
While Thesiger maintained during his early journeys that ne never intended to write a book about them, her did lecture on the subject and contribute articles in the Journals of the Royal Geographical Society. No drafts of his articles survive and this is the only copy of the articles he wrote to have come to Eton College along with the rest of his papers.
