This series contains articles, introductions, reviews, obituaries and memoirs written by Anthony Powell during his time as a journalist. These articles were published in a variety of newspapers and magazines. It is mostly corrected typescripts, but there are also some proofs, and offprints of articles on the history of the Powell family. In File A there are documents relating to a politico-military course completed by Powell.

This series contains two folders, called File A and File B, that contain typescripts, proofs etc in Anthony Powell's original arrangement. This arrangement, and the original housing, has been maintained.
There are two files that contain documents in Anthony Powell's original arrangement. This arrangement has been retained in these cases. The remainder of the material has been arranged by genre and divided into files accordingly.
