5 ALS to Herbert Mildmay about the Crimean War, 2 from Dr William Graham on board the HMS Vengeance in July and October 1854 describing the anchorage at Varna and the charge of the Light Brigade at Balaklava, 2 from E. J. Brooks in 1855, at camp in front of Sevastopol in February [?] and on board ship at Constantinople in March, and 1 ALS from Charles G. Fane 25 November 1854, who writes about the siege of Sevastopol.
