File originally labelled ‘Publicity 1957’. It contains letters to various correspondents regarding events Williams attended, or articles he wrote throughout the year to publicise his work.
It also includes details of advertising posters; offers to appear on various shows and events, a number of which were declined; and reviews and promotional articles written by others.
The majority of letters relate to ‘Complete and Free’, which was published that year. However the letters also make reference to the continued publicity of ‘The Wooden Horse’ and ‘The Tunnel’ and discuss his future project – ‘Dragoman Pass’.
