Papers relating to Rutherford's novel, originally published in 1956. It includes:
Corrected setting copy typescript for 'The Perilous Sky', [1955-1956]. The title of the draft has been altered several times on the title page – including 'Vapour Trail' (alternative title 'Death of a Survivor') – 'The day has its perils' (provisional title) – 'The Perilous Sky'
Also included are three published copies of 'The Perilous Sky', (London: Fontana, 1958), one is stamped by 'Curtis Brown Ltd.'
