Acton's letters are written from Italy to Dossé in England, and mention many writers and friends, including Viva King, Diana Mosley, Cecil Roberts, Lord Rosse, Auberon Waugh, and Angus Wilson. Also present is an ALS to Miss Emerson at Books & Bookmen, dated 1980 September 25, reacting to news of Dossé's suicide.
