Volume of press cuttings complied by Clunes and relating to the ‘Campaign of Actors for Sunday Theatres (C.A.S.T.)’. The campaign was headed by a group of actors who wished theatres to be open for the duration of the Second World War and on Sundays. Alec Clunes was the Hon. Treasurer for the working committee, with Noel Coward as President. Other prominent members include Dennis Arundell, Ivor Novello, Michael Redgrave and Patricia Burke.
