This series comprises play scripts accumulated by Clunes in his dual role as an actor and theatre manager. It contains a mix of rehearsal scripts and production scripts annotated by Clunes. It also contains a series of play scripts relating to the Gaslight Theatre series, consisting of a series of programmes broadcast on BBC in 1965, where various plays were adapted by Alec Clunes.
The scripts are arranged by type with the theatre scripts first and then TV and radio scripts, and then alphabetically by the surname of the playwright
