Content description
The bound volume is the only copy of the manuscript magazine, which was started and edited by Praed. The contents of each of the six issues were copied by Praed and around half the contributions to the magazine were written by him. The other contributors were Francis Curzon (the son of Lord Scarsdale) and W.J. Trower (who later became Bishop of Gibraltar). The magazine ran between 13 March 1820 and 14 July 1820 and it contained verses and proses which were often of a satirical nature.
