Containing a portfolio titled “Scritti di Papà”, which includes copies of Antonio Caccia’s political and miscellaneous poetry, written out in a secretary hand by an unknown scribe, but includes 2pp. of the political poems in Antonio Caccia’s hand. Antonio Caccia corrected the manuscript for publication.
Accompanying this volume are manuscript copies of Antonio Caccia’s two volumes of poetry, written out in a number of hands:
- Vol. I: ‘Poesie Politiche, 1827-6’, 83pp. with index
- Vol. II: ‘Poesie Miscellanee, 1827-67’. 66pp. with index
These appear to be posthumous, as vol.1 has Michele Sartorio’s Della Vita degli Scritti di Antonio Caccia inscribed at the front. Pasted into this volume is a 4pp. poem “Pie IX a Gaeta” which appears to be in Antonio’s hand.
