Harold Caccia: Items kept in a wooden chest
Sub-series
1816-1989
3 boxes containing a total of 10 files, 2 volumes and 2 oversized rolls
The sub-series containing items relating to the Caccia genealogy, but which were stored separately in a wooden chest. It contains official documents and other genealogical papers relating to the Caccia, Birch and Lamb families.
The items in this sub-series have been catalogued as a separate sub-series to preserve the original order in which they arrived at the Library. The papers were originally held loose in the box. The have been rehoused in archival boxes and catalogued according to the nature of the material. While the Caccia and Birch family papers have been catalogued as two distinct sub-sub-series, due to the close family ties, there is overlap between the papers and researchers should consult both group of papers when looking for genealogical papers on either family.
Most of the original files are retained with the papers.
Most of the original files are retained with the papers.
