Content description
This sub-sub-series contains correspondence and paperwork relating to the Vietnamese refugees that Young was helping. It includes autograph letters to him, news cuttings about the crisis, and writings by the younger members of the family, and official letters and papers regarding the family’s immigration.
Also included are: a 1992 pocket diary, recording his various appointments for that year; and other notebooks from his time in Hong Kong and Thailand. The diary contains brief notes, appointments and a number of business cards. The notebooks contain very brief notes covering the crisis, the Vietnamese people and his experiences during his time.
It also includes other papers concerning Vietnam that were collected, including maps and articles.
