Photographic slides taken by Gavin Young during his journey tracing Conrad's sea, land and river journeys. The journey was written up in 'In Search of Conrad' (1991).
It includes photographs taken in Berau, Makassar, Bulungan, Gowa, Kutching, Hong Kong and Bali.
As well as scenic shots, it inlcudes photographs of the boats (Prahus) used during the journey as well as local sights the local people.
Also inlcuded is a small photograph album and an envelope of photogrpahic negatives
