The box includes letters from:

Edward, Prince of Wales: (later King Edward VIII and then Duke of Windsor): 5 autograph letters, 1 typed letter, 1 signed Christmas card and 2 telegrams from Edward; 1 autograph letter and 1 sympathy card from Wallis Simpson; 1 typed letter from Lord Brownlow on Wallis Simpson’s behalf and 1 autograph letter from Sir Alan Lascelles.
Also included 2 NPG postcards of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor

Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother: 18 autograph letters from Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother and 1 autograph and 1 typed letter from Martin Gilliat, her private secretary.
7 signed Christmas cards, 5 of which contain photographs.
Kept with the envelope is a file of material relating to the Queen Mother’s funeral, which was attended by the Provost at the time.

Also included in the box is correspondence concerning Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother’s visit to Eton and a copy of the order of service for her funeral
