Content description
Three clean copy printouts of works written by McCrum during 2013 which were sent as a set to Peter, his literary agent at ‘Rogers, Coleridge & White Ltd.’, for comment. The drafts include:
1/ ‘Spector’ a dystopian thriller;
2/ ‘Piracy’, a novel which was also called ‘Hot Air’ and ‘Byrd’s Plan B’ – see MS 678 02 18 for further drafts of this work;
3/ ‘Shakespeare in America’ an outline for a Radio 4 feature.
The first two ideas appear to have been dropped, however ‘Shakespeare in America’ was produced for Radio 4 in 2016.
