Predominantly containing autograph letters and postcards, with some signed typed letters, commenting on his own work, particularly ‘Dyfed Landscapes’, as well and praising Merchant’s writings and sculptures.
The letters also refer to Crawford’s various academic roles including senior lecturer in Graphic Art at the Visual Art Department, University College Wales, Aberystwyth.
The letters enclose various additional papers relating to Crawford’s work, including job applications, catalogues, and posters of his exhibitions.
Catalogues include: ‘The Printmakers Council of Great Britain’ (1979); ‘Welsh Artists at Editions Alecto’ (1979); ‘Dyfed Landscapes’ (1981); and ‘Vedute D’Italia’ (1987).
