A poster for a joint poetry event by Thomas and Merchant; news cuttings, including an obituary; photographs of M.E. Eldridge’s drawing of Thomas; postcards of St Michael's Church, Manafon, where Thomas was rector for a period; and copies of some of Thomas’s poems
Also included are typescript copies of articles on Thomas, including:
‘The Faith of R.S. Thomas: A Solution to the Problem of Belief from North Wales’ by J.B. Lethbridge
Copy of ‘R.S. Thomas’ by Moelwyn Merchant, later printed in Critical Quarterly (Winter, 1960
