Containing manuscripts, corrected typescripts and unmarked typescripts, and photocopies of some of the poems, which had been previously published, but were gathered together here to be published as 'Confrontation of Angels'.
The drafts do not represent a complete draft of the poems published in 'Confrontation of Angels'. Poems included are 'Thorn Heads'; 'The Dream of the Rood', 'Paternoster', 'Jacob Wrestling', 'Samson and Delilah', 'Royal Chalice', and 'The Tree of Life'
The file also includes some copies of published material featuring the poems, including:
'Radley Arts Magazine' (RAM), Lent Term 1983 featuring 'Jacob Wrestling' and 'Madonna'; 'R.S. Thomas' featuring 'Paternoster'; and programme for the 'Cardiff Festival of 20th Century Music' 6-19 March 1972' featuring 'Tree of Life'
